Fund Portfolio Manager (Buy-Side, Fund of Funds)

Our Client
Our Client is a new yet with solid Fund Management Firm focusing in fund investment with over HKD 500 millions AUM, building equity & Cryptocurrency/Blockchain operating companies. They acquire high-quality assets on a value basis and drive investment performance through active improvements on operations. Their Fund Portfolio Manager (buy-side) role is vacant and they are looking for experienced, high integrity and responsible professional to join their team.

Responsibilities
Managing fund-of-funds portfolios to achieve absolute return, with the goal of outperforming peer index in different markets.
Demonstrate strong knowledge of funds and strategies of assigned product class, e.g. equity (secondary market) related funds
Monitor the investment progress, liquidity, operations and performance of the funds and report to the management
Coordinate and liaise with internal and external parties to ensure the smooth operation of portfolio management.
Closely track the funds and conduct portfolio reviews to evaluate portfolio performance.
Monitor funds’ overall positions and support investment teams in terms of information flow, trade ideas and data requests;
Perform risk management activities and to maximize best execution practices;
Support the team in other relevant areas, and attend ad hoc meetings;
Perform such other duties as shall from time to time be directed by the superiors

Requirements
Bachelor degree holder in Investment Management, Finance or related discipline with outstanding academic background
3-7 years of trading experience, familiar with the rules of stock trading; experience in well-known financial institution is highly preferable
Good knowledge of financial products and understanding of the operational risks involved in Equity products
Work conscientiously and responsibly, rigorous attitude, responsive, strong ability to resist pressure, with good organizational coordination ability, team spirit and learning ability
Good communication skill with analytical mind
Excellent command of spoken and written Chinese and English
Immediate available is an advantage
